The Hindenburg weighed just under 250 tons, which is about 500,000 lbs. A Boeing 747 weighs about 900,000 lbs. The Saturn V rocket weighed 6.5 million lbs. These astonishing things lifted off the ground and flew. Heavy, but up there.

  1. Success at last for you, Karl! Or maybe finality. And for B? The last DS is a winner, summing up his regrets, self-aware and yet still hiding behind his egotistic fatalism. But mostly, the truly sad understanding that he wasn't going to live. He wasn't going to stay alive for his daughter. His self-inflicted death would be his unmeant, absentee scolding.
